- American Physical Therapy Association The national organization for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Guide for Conduct of the Physical Therapist Assistant This Guide is intended to serve physical therapist assistants in interpreting the Standards of Ethical Conduct for the Physical Therapist Assistant of the American Physical Therapy Association. The Guide provides guidelines by which physical therapist assistants may determine the propriety of their conduct. It is also intended to guide the development of physical therapist assistant students.

- Kansas Physical Theraphy Association The KPTA website is the place for information for both KPTA Members and Consumers. Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants will find practice updates, research articles, career opportunities and much more throughout the site.
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts - Relating to the Practice of Physical Therapy Regulations relating to the practice of physical therapy. July 2009
- The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy This organization oversees the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
